Sexual Offenders
The Florence Police Department registers sexual offenders who live in the City of Florence.
Terminology:
- SVPS: Sexual Violent Predators
- S.O.: Sexual Offenders
Depending on the stipulations of the conviction determines rather the Sexual Offender will be required to quarterly register or required to annually register.
A List of Sexual Offenders who reside in the City of Florence is available upon request. To obtain this list, we request a completed Record Request Form and a copy of your ID. It should be noted that this list changes frequently and therefore, should not rely solely on this list as a safeguard against sexual predators.

S.O. Fee Schedule
16-22-108(7) is the Colorado Revised Statute that allows for fees to be charged for the Registration of Sexual Offenders
Florence Police Department Fee Schedule:
- $75.00 Initial Registration
- $50.00 Annual Registration
- $25.00 Quarterly Registration
**No Fees for updates or De-Registration
The Florence Police Department is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
State Statutes
16-22-112 is the Colorado Revised Statute that allows for law enforcement agencies to release information about Registered Sexual Offenders living in the regions of our Department's jurisdiction to the residents of the City of Florence. This allows the Citizens of Florence to educate themselves and their families about Sexual Offenders.
16-22-110(6)(a), is the sections that discusses the general assembly. The general assembly is not intended for additional punishment or inflict retribution on any convicted Sexual Offender.
